The Facts
According to recent studies, Black people have a higher prevalence of MS than previously thought, with research indicating that around 3 in 1,000 black people are diagnosed with MS, which translates to a significantly higher risk compared to other racial groups. Some studies even suggest a 47% increased risk compared to white people. Yet the research and understanding of the way MS affects black people is limited. All in my Head aims to bring a voice to a community that is often voiceless in the medical field. The film highlights this far too common phenomena, raise awareness, while also showing the beauty in community, strength in numbers, and hope.
